Educational Background:

Caroline was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn, London in 1996 and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1997. Following her admission, she joined the legal unit of an engineering firm where she spent 1.5 years overseeing litigation and recovery procedures. During this time, Caroline also pursued and completed her Master of Laws from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, further enhancing her legal expertise.

Experience:

Since 1999, Caroline has been actively practicing as a civil and commercial litigator, handling a diverse range of litigation matters, from highly contentious disputes to routine debt recovery for various financial institutions, including Islamic financial institutions. Over the years, she has represented clients at all levels of the Malaysian court system, managing interlocutory applications, conducting trials, and presenting motions and appeals. Well-versed in all aspects of civil procedure, her areas of practice include debt recovery for commercial and merchant banks, leasing and hire purchase matters, family law, probate and administration, foreclosure, bankruptcy, winding-up proceedings, injunctions, employment disputes, and general civil litigation.
